Ruach Tova

Our purpose is to act as an address for any person or organization that wants to volunteer and give, as well as for any person or entity in need of assistance.

Encouraging the spirit of volunteerism in Israel takes the form of offering readily available and accessible information on volunteerism, as well as matching and connecting people who want to volunteer – according to their skills and abilities – with volunteer organizations, public bodies and people in need of assistance throughout the country.

The databases that we make available for public use contain more than 2,000 projects covering a wide range of topics. Volunteers can register via the Internet and a telephone call center. In 2007, Ruach Tova also began taking in volunteers from abroad and placing them with volunteer organizations in Israel.

In addition, we created an annual tradition called Good Deeds Day, when each person is asked to do a good deed for their fellow human beings.
